Dr. Yates is a Chiropractor with a Master’s degree in Strength and Human Performance and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He has extensive training in manipulation, manual therapy, rehabilitation, biomechanical assessment, and sports performance. By integrating these disciplines, Dr. Yates takes a comprehensive, individualized approach to care, helping patients restore movement, reduce pain, and perform at their best—whether in sport or everyday life.
Dr. Yates completed his undergraduate studies at Central Michigan University. He earned his Master’s degree in Strength and Human Performance from Parker University and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University. Prior to joining the team at the Parker Performance Institute, he worked for Clemson University’s sports medicine department. He has also worked with professional athletes across multiple disciplines, including the NFL, NHL, MLB, and PGA.
Originally from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Dr. Yates played high-level ice hockey throughout his youth and continues to enjoy the sport today. He is an avid weightlifter and takes pride in practicing what he preaches with his patients.
